Registration will open 1 Desember 2026, 12 PM. By registering you agree to our Terms and conditions.

New this year: we offer three tracks of classes. Each track gives you 4 hours with teachers. Instead of tasters, there will be a small Basics track where you can freshen up your basics or learn it from scratch. Yes, this is for beginners. This track will be held before the party on Friday, on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday.

For those of you signing up for the Moves and variations track or the Technique track, you are welcome to combine with the Basics track. Note that the Sunday class of the Basics track will overlap with the Moves and variation track.

Basics track

I have not danced Slow Balboa before or at least I feel I have forgotten it all. Join in on the flow and learn some Slow Balboa from scratch. During this track you will learn the basics of Slow Balboa so you can join the social dancing at the parties. You can of course also join this track if you want to freshen up your basic skills or learn the other role. This is a beginner’s track and will be held by our local teachers.

Moves and variations track

I know the basic steps and have danced Slow Balboa before. I am eager to build upon my basics and expand my repertoire in Slow Balboa and would like to know some cool variations. NB! This is not a beginner’s track.

Technique track

I have several years experience of Slow Balboa dancing and I have been to several dance workshops. Now I’m eager to dive deeper into different concepts like improvisation, musicality and technique. I know several moves and variations and now I want to improve my technique and I am ready for personal feedback.

Party Pass

Valid for all evening parties, Friday and Saturday. Tea dance on Sunday is free for all, also for those without any pass.

Prices

Full Pass for Technique track or Moves and variations track is 1600 NOK (including all parties). Basic track is 1000 NOK (including all parties). Party Pass is 500 NOK and valid Friday and Saturday evening. The Sunday tea dance is free for all – do drop in if this is your only chance to hang out this weekend!
